USMCA Announces Partnership with Motosport.com

TEMECULA, California (June 1, 2021) — Today, the United States Motorcycle Coaching Association (USMCA) announces a strategic partnership with MotoSport.com to help grow the riding community and bring awareness to the overall need for rider safety, training, and instruction.

MotoSport.com has helped grow the riding community for some time through various sponsorships and partnerships that promote the overall riding experience with the idea to get out and ride. A primary concern, yet not widely discussed, for anyone on two-wheels is rider safety. Therefore, to help mark the end of Motorcycle Safety Month, the leading online retailer of parts and gear has teamed up with the USMCA, the country’s leading non-profit organization advocating for riding coaches and overall safety on two-wheels.

“When it comes to racing and riding dirt bikes and street bikes, safety is a top priority,” said Scott Huddleston, Senior VP and General Manager of MotoSport.com. “A leading question we get from customers centers around safety and the gear they should wear, but we also get those looking for information about riding classes and ways to better their skills. We are pleased to support a much-needed resource for riders.”

The USMCA has started a nationwide infrastructure of certified motorcycle coaches to provide quality coaching for on- and off-road motorcyclists from the beginner level up through advanced levels of riding and competition. With a vision to create a thriving motorcycle industry, the USMCA is racing towards its goals of 250,000 new and returning riders using its program by 2025 and 250 certified coaches by the end of 2021

“We continue to be impressed by our partners’ commitment to serving the riders of our community,” said Christy LaCurelle, USMCA President. “This is no exception with the addition of MotoSport.com to our partner list as they are focused on elevating the experience the rider has with their online store and remain committed to supporting the industry, including the USMCA’s mission of growing the sport of motorcycling through proper coaching. We are excited to have them on board and look forward to working with their team, supported riders and coaches, as well as collaborating on key events together.”

To become a certified USMCA riding coach, applicants must adhere to strict standards that include upholding a Code of Conduct, pass a background check, become CPR/First Aid certified, and complete core training content, among other requirements.
